Quick video from seeing the Dropkick Murphys put on their first of seven St. Patrick’s Day weekend shows in Boston.
I missed out on seeing them a decade ago when their previous lead singer quit right before I was supposed to see them for my 15th birthday. They’re wicked popular now, and the St. Paddy’s day shows are a huge deal in Boston. Like the Pogues shows in NYC.
I’ve had a variation on pretty much this exact dream regularly since graduating almost two years ago:Â The same horror on the Couch Hall porch at realizing I’d totally forgotten to attend a class I’d signed up for, PANIC DAMN DAMN HOW’D I DO THAT I’m GONNA FAIL, sinking sense that I was actually done with school, CONFUSION…. waking up glad I’m done with school.
I wonder if I’ll have nightmares about missing Saturday Staff Meetings if I ever make it to law school.
Down-right awesome or disappointing, the Alan-Moore-snubbed cinema starts midnight at the Rave. Hamilton saw an early screening and meh-ed it, but we all know how he can be. Am I right? Huh?
If you want to come along, you’d best order tickets online. ‘Cause it’s gonna be a geek-party full house.
Thanks for Lauren for doing the original MS Paint job of tossing my head up there.
Barry banned me from his blogspot URL just for writing on it. I thought this was a free country. Why don’t you move to Russia, Barry, if you like being a jerk so much. Gay. Thank you for this brief but important update.
