Officially fired up the grill for the first time at the new house. Grilled some corn. Bad-mofo chef-housemate made killer burgers. Neighbor-bro brought garden-fresh squash. Put the fresh squash in the burger. Summer has started.

Also, I’ve become addicted to grilling this summer. We’ve been throwing our garden fresh squash on the grill with a little marinade– friggin’ YUM.
Yeah man, that squash alone was enough for me to want to think about doing a little gardening of my own – and we have a big ole backyard that might be suited to it.
How steep’s the learning curve on the green-thumb growth?

Nah, man, anyone can garden. It’s probably a bit too late to start this year, but if you wait until August you can plant a fall/winter garden that will keep you filled with salad all winter.
