I’m really excited that you guys have responded so well to what I’ve put in place. I was worried that I’d be all gesticulation with no response. Now the easy part is to build on what we have. Design-wise we have a skeleton. It’s my job to grow that part, but if you write a post you like a lot, or you want to highlight as featured, I put together a short tutorial to walk you through the steps.
I did end up recording this rather late; and as I have roommates, I couldn’t project as I would like. Still, it should get across the ideas. This takes about 3:40, and while it may seem silly to make a video for our little project, I plan on making this at least appear legit, and having some images goes a long way.

Re: the short video, it’s just Quicktime. I think that even if your running certain linux distros, you might need to download Mplayer. http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/dload.html
