I just finished hunting around for a good primer on fair use to ref in a piece on the prognosis of the same in 2008. Turns out the Center for Social Media at American U. just released a solid report. So that’s taken care of. BUT, you won’t believe what I found it the process! Godtube!!! Slogan: Broadcast him! It’s friggin’ slick too, and despite being deity-neutral, I was excited to see it.
All these social networking and rich-media services are starting to splinter off into specialized domains, much like television programming did decades ago. It’ll be fun to watch the adoption trends over the next 12 months.
